Delete your account
You can delete your Animal Farm account and all of its game data at any time. Deleting cannot be undone.
Delete it in the game
- Open Animal Farm. You do not need to sign in first — the Game is already signed in to the account on your device (a guest account, or the account you continued with an ID).
- On the farm, tap the Menu button at the top right.
- Tap More, then Delete account. A question for grown-ups appears first — answer it, then tap Delete account again to confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and the Game goes back to its first screen with “Your account has been deleted.” and a Start button. Tapping Start opens this device’s guest account — a new, empty one if the account you deleted was the guest account. Nothing from the deleted account comes back.
To delete an account that you continued from another phone, first tap Menu → Continue on another phone → Log in with ID and enter that player ID and password, then follow the steps above.
Ask us to delete it
If you cannot open the account in the Game (for example, you lost the phone that has a guest account, or you forgot the password of your player ID), email [email protected] with the subject “Animal Farm account deletion”. Tell us your player ID or character name, if you have one. We may ask a few questions to make sure the account is yours, and we delete it within 30 days. A parent or guardian can also ask us to delete a child’s account.
What is deleted
- Your account: the account number, the device code used for guest sign-in, the player ID and password if you made them (the password is stored only as a one-way hash) and sign-in sessions.
- Your characters: character name, chosen animals and sexes.
- Your game progress: levels, experience points and quests for every character slot.
- Your ranking entries: character name and points on the weekly, monthly and yearly rankings.
We keep nothing tied to your account after it is deleted. Only the free play time record (when you first played for free and how long you played that day — no game progress or name) stays under a one-way hash of the device code, or of the Steam or getpes.com account number, so that deleting an account and making a new one does not reset the free play time; email us if you want it deleted. Your subscription status is deleted with your account. If you bought a subscription, our subscription service provider (RevenueCat) keeps the purchase record under an anonymous customer number only as long as needed for refunds, accounting or the law. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your app store account settings. Server logs (IP address and connection times) are not linked to your account and are kept only as long as needed to run the service, then deleted. See the Privacy Policy.
